نئی دہلی : اب دشمن ممالک ہماری فوج سے ٹکرانے سے پہلے سو بار سوچیں گے۔ ہندوستانی فوج کی طاقت میں بہت جلد اضافہ ہونے والا ہے، کیونکہ وزارت دفاع نے انتہائی ہائی ٹیک ٹینک، ریڈار اور نئے گشتی طیارے خریدنے کو منظوری دے دی ہے۔ مرکزی حکومت کی ڈیفنس ایکوزیشن کونسل (ڈی اے سی) نے 1.45 لاکھ کروڑ روپے کے دفاعی آلات کی خریداری کو منظوری دی ہے، جس میں سے 99 فیصد رقم مقامی سپلائرز سے خریداری پر خرچ کی جائے گی۔

اس نئی اسکیم کے تحت ہندوستانی فوج کے لیے 1,770  ایف آر سی وی ( فیوچر ریڈی کامبیٹ وہیکل) خریدی جائیں گی۔ یہ ایسا جنگی ٹینک ہوگا جس کے ذریعے آرمرڈ کور کو جدید بنایا جا سکے گا اور اس کی لاگت تقریباً 45000 کروڑ روپے ہوگی۔ یہ FRCVs انتہائی اعلیٰ ٹیکنالوجی سے لیس ہوتے ہیں، جو متعدد ہتھیاروں کے پلیٹ فارم کے طور پر کام کر سکتے ہیں۔ فوج اس وقت T-90، T-72 اور ارجن ٹینکوں کے ساتھ کام کر رہی ہے، جبکہ یہ FRCVs اب پرانے پڑ چکے T-72 ٹینکوں کی جگہ لیں گے۔
