سپریم کورٹ نے این ٹی اے یعنی نیشنل ٹیسٹنگ ایجنسی اور مرکزی حکومت کو نوٹس جاری کیا اور اس پورے معاملے پر ان سے جواب طلب کیا۔ سپریم کورٹ میں جسٹس وکرمناتھ اور جسٹس ایس وی این بھٹی کی بنچ نے کہا کہ اگر 0.01 فیصد بھی کوئی خامی پائی جاتی ہے تو اس سے پوری طرح نمٹا جانا چاہئے۔ ہم اس سے سختی سے نمٹیں گے۔ ہم امتحان کی تیاری میں طلباء کی محنت کو سمجھتے ہیں۔
سپریم کورٹ نے این ٹی اے سے کہا کہ وہ طلباء کی شکایات کو نظر انداز نہ کرے۔ اگر واقعی امتحان میں کوئی غلطی ہوئی ہے تو اسے بروقت درست کیا جائے۔ اس کے بعد عدالت نے دونوں درخواستوں کو سابقہ درخواستوں کے ساتھ ضم کردیا۔ درخواستوں میں NEET امتحان کو منسوخ کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا گیا ہے۔
