کمیشن نے کہا کہ بشنوئی برادری کے قدیم تہوار کو ذہن میں رکھتے ہوئے ہریانہ اسمبلی انتخابات کی تاریخ تبدیل کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔

نئی دہلی : بشنوئی برادری کے قدیم تہوار کو ذہن میں رکھتے ہوئے الیکشن کمیشن نے ہفتہ کو ہریانہ اسمبلی انتخابات کی تاریخ یکم اکتوبر سے بڑھا کر 5 اکتوبر کر دی۔ کمیشن نے کہا کہ جموں کشمیر اور ہریانہ اسمبلی انتخابات کے ووٹوں کی گنتی اب 4 اکتوبر کے بجائے 8 اکتوبر کو ہوگی۔ الیکشن کمیشن نے کہا کہ یہ فیصلہ بشنوئی برادری کے ووٹنگ کے حقوق اور روایات کا احترام کرنے کے لیے کیا گیا ہے، جس نے اپنے گرو جمبھیشور کی یاد میں 300-400 سال پرانی روایت کو برقرار رکھا ہے۔

کمیشن کو آل انڈیا بشنوئی مہاسبھا بیکانیر (راجستھان) کے قومی صدرسے ہریانہ اسمبلی انتخابات کی تاریخ کو دوبارہ طے کرنے کے لیے ایک نمائندگی ملی تھی۔ انہوں نے اپنی نمائندگی میں کہا تھا کہ پنجاب، راجستھان اور ہریانہ کے لوگ گرو جمبھیشور کی یاد میں بیکانیر میں منعقد ہونے والے سالانہ میلے کے لیے راجستھان میں ان کے آبائی گاؤں مقام پہنچتے ہیں۔

اس سال یہ تہوار 2 اکتوبر کو ہے اور سرسا، فتح آباد اور حصار میں رہنے والے ہزاروں بشنوئی خاندان اس دن راجستھان جائیں گے، جس کی وجہ سے وہ اپنے حق رائے دہی کے استعمال سے محروم رہ سکتے ہیں۔

اس سے پہلے ہریانہ میں ووٹنگ یکم اکتوبر کو ہونی تھی۔ اب وہاں ووٹنگ یکم اکتوبر کی بجائے 5 اکتوبر کو ہوگی۔ اس کے ساتھ ہی جموں و کشمیر میں تین مرحلوں میں ووٹنگ ہوگی، پہلا مرحلہ 18 ستمبر، دوسرا مرحلہ 25 ستمبر اور تیسرا اور آخری مرحلہ یکم اکتوبر کو ہوگا۔ جموں و کشمیر اور ہریانہ دونوں کے انتخابی نتائج کا اعلان 8 اکتوبر کو کیا جائے گا۔
